What happens when bird feces awakens an entire monument of hero fighters?
“Stones” is a visual poetic event, created by Yinon Tzafrir.
This performance is inspired by “The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Monument” by Nathan Rapoport (1911-1987).
“Stones” tells a story through the eyes of a sculpture that comes to life, this is an ironic journey through the twentieth century, a journey among spirits and memories.
“Stones” is an original and surprising performance, full of strong images. A bitter-sweet event, where laughter goes alongside the breathtaking & the present flirts with the past. This show deals with passion for life, heroic myth and victory of the spirit.
The performers prove that poetry & imagination are the tools that can transform even the ugliest moment in history into beauty and hope.
ONE of the best 10 performances in the world from NRW
Maximum we'll die|Efrat stainlauf, Omer Shemer
What would you do if one morning you woke up and lived like you
had nothing to lose?
A training center for courage wishes to confront the audience with the
question: “What would we do if we weren’t so scared?”. In fact, what
are we so afraid of?
This is an experimental performance that explores the limits between
performance art and theater, between a show and exposure, between
an answer and a question
* Nominated for one of the most refreshing and innovative shows of

Empty crops|Tahel Ran
Yona Mantsour is a Yemenite woman who’s baby was abducted in 1959. Mantsour not only loses her baby but also her “joy of life” and her sanity. Her loss is portrayed by a choir of “spirits” inside of her. I played one of these ghosts that filled her heart with darkness and fractions of memories that cry out loud. In the show, there is a dialogue between Yona, who keeps waking up to this nightmare, and a choir of women, who witnessed the events - the kidnapping of her baby and her shattered soul.
Iron bullet|Karov Theater
The show follows a post-traumatic worker at a factory for iron balls which are used both as psychiatric pills and bullets for the battlefield.
Rivy is a strong reminder for the factory worker of the warmth and vividity of life that is long forgotten inside the walls of the factory.
Rivy, the character I embodied, is a guinea pig for the regional Psychiatrist's experiments.
Rivy is anesthetized by the pills, and between one pill to another, she's being driven by madness and fury and has a strong will to just break and destroy everything and go back home.
Till the next pill.
glimpses, waves of life, which in them grows the strength and passion until they explode in those few moments of awareness.
